About Us

Rock Precision is a small mom/pop gunsmith shop located in the rural town of Shell Rock, Iowa. Paul is the primary gunsmith, as well as owner, and has over 20 years of experience in the field of firearm maintenance, upgrade and repair.

After over 25 years in the world of computer network design and security, Paul changed course to pursue his passion for riflery. He went back to school and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Trinidad State Gunsmithing Program.  

Rock Precision holds the bar high when it comes to customer service. We care about the needs of our clients and provide an excellent experience through listening and offering a high level of expertise. We believe precision and attention to detail  are paramount in order to provide an accurate, reliable and beautifully finished firearm.
